Gouda Traditional Music
“I met Gouda at Bless the Mic, a very cool music night in Ghana run by a good friend PY. PY hooked me up with lots of people and I often worked at ‘Bless the Mic’ as a resident DJ.
I spoke to band leader Gidi if we could collaborate on a song. They had a song that they had already written called ‘Odo Yea’ (meaning Love is good) and we set about recording each instrument into my computer with a regular bpm.
It was an interesting challenge but I think the result is really cool. On this song Gouda consist of Abeko Gidi, Kofi Agbo and Begine Owuo Kebibaya. But there are other members too. Check their page below.

Neo-Traditional music group, GOUDA play their own compositions (instrumental – singing) as well as having a big repertoire from playing Afro-music, inspired by the likes of Fela Kuti, Jazz like ‘Take Five’, Traditional Music taught by their Ghana music master Dela Botri, leader of Hewale Sounds.
